![]() ![]() Now use this path to find your compatdata folder for Waw -> /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/10090/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/Activision/CoDWaW/ĭrag and drop the mods folder to the CoDWaW folder right next to the players folder and or create a mods folder and move the map files to said folder. Keep that in mind and open up a new tab in Dolphin. Open up Dolphin and follow this path -> /home/deck/.var/app//data/wine/drive_c/users/deck/AppData/Local/Activision/CoDWaW/ and hopefully you'll find your files there. Sadly they didn't install in the right place so now you just need to find where wine holds the files and put them in the right place. ![]() For those who installed externally -> E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Call of Duty World at War\ and or browse through that path till you find the WaW folder. UGX requires you to find the root folder, for locally installed use -> C:\users\deck\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\ and or browse and go down the same path. ZMods are straightforward just run the exe and install. So depending the installer type, ZMod or UGX you take slightly different steps. So you've downloaded your favorite zombies map and you're ready to install, zwr.gg is very straight forward but good imo for finding map downloads nowadays) Head over and download your favorite map (or whatever site you use. Install Wine and or the latest verision of Proton GE ( I'll go over wine first since it is easier) Install WaW locally or on a removable drive and run the game atleast once to get it seeded. ![]() I also included paths that you can copy and paste for ease of use ![]() I'll answer any questions to the best of my abilities.Įdit: Overhaul on the guide since I was too tired when I wrote it. If you want to use UGX Manager use the Proton GE instructions to run it because I've only had problems with the GUI on Wine. ![]()
